Barbara G. Jones Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer As Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer for the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies, Barbara G. Jones directs and manages the Corporate Compliance and HIPAA Privacy Offices. In this role, she acts as the corporate leader in the development, implementation and monitoring of the organization's compliance and privacy programs. As the compliance and privacy consultant to the organization, Ms. Jones is responsible for identifying and resolving corporate and regulatory compliance issues; establishing and implementing effective reporting, auditing and investigative processes; and developing and implementing compliance/privacy communications and training programs. Ms. Jones has more than 20 years experience in management, administration, leadership and legal practice.  Just prior to joining the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies, Ms. Jones was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Delaware River Port Authority in Camden, NJ. There, she coordinated organizational development, corporate alignment and process improvement, while managing human resources, risk management, insurance, information services and corporate safety efforts. Ms Jones also served as Deputy General Counsel of the Authority and she has held other legal and governmental positions. Ms. Jones received a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from West Chester State College. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
