Betsy Scarcelli
Vice President, Strategic Planning & Execution

Betsy Scarcelli is the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Execution for the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies. In this position, she provides leadership and oversight for the implementation of the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies' Strategic Plan. Specifically, she is charged with leading a highly focused effort to synchronize, track and ensure strategic execution and collaboration across all departments and all lines of business. To that end, she oversees the Center for Strategic Management, which centralizes the monitoring of strategic plan implementations and facilitates strategic decision-making throughout the Company.

Ms. Scarcelli has extensive Information Technology (IT) knowledge and experience, strong leadership and management skills. Prior to this position, Ms. Scarcelli was Chief Information Officer for the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies. In that role, she oversaw the strategy, development and maintenance of the Company’s technology infrastructure and services. Before joining the AmeriHealth Mercy, Ms. Scarcelli was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for The Hartford in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for the IT organization for a three million-member customer service base. Ms. Scarcelli received a Bachelor of Science in Computer-Based Business Systems from Gwynedd-Mercy College.
