Sister Renee Yann is Senior Vice President and Chief Mission Integration Officer for the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies. She is responsible for mission integration across the Family of Companies, and for affirming and assisting the President and Chief Executive Officer and management team in their responsibility to understand, communicate, and implement the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy. Sister Renee supports and promotes the mission of the Sisters of Mercy in all business operations of the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies.
Sister Renee Yann is a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, Mid-Atlantic Community, a community of religious women serving the needs of the poor, sick and uneducated worldwide since 1861. Sister Renee has 20 years of varied health care experience.
She also served for 10 years in various capacities at Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia, including Pastoral Counselor for the Hospice Program and Director of Patient Relations. Prior to that time, she taught for over fifteen years at secondary and post-secondary levels. Sister Renee served as Social Justice Coordinator for the Sisters of Mercy for several years, coordinating community-wide research, education and action for peace and justice.
Sister Renee holds bachelor's degrees in English and Secondary Education, a master's degree in Human Development and a doctorate in Theology. |
