May 16, 2005 - Philadelphia (PA) - AmeriHealth Mercy and its affiliate, Passport Health Plan will present at the 13th Annual Medicaid Managed Care Congress, being held June 13-15, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, MD.
On Wednesday, June 15th at 9:00 a.m., Daniel J. Hilferty, President and CEO of AmeriHealth Mercy, will moderate and participate on the Medicaid Managed Care Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer Panel. The panel will include a discussion on the importance of working with state Medicaid agencies and communicating the value added by managed care. The panel will also examine the business opportunity created by the Medicare Modernization Act.
The previous day, June 14th, at 2:15 p.m., Joyce Hagen, President of Passport Health Plan, will lead a discussion on Taking Control of the Pharmacy Benefit. The session will educate participants on how to contain pharmacy cost trends while improving quality of care.
